Snow Day

As snowflakes slowly cascaded in the morning sunlight, a peaceful serenity blanketed the valley and my soul. I stood in a field of bitterbrush in Grand Teton National Park as a bachelor herd of moose ignored the click of my camera. Creatures great and small emerged from their hiding as each species hunted for sustenance in preparation for the coming winter.

Survival. It’s the connection we share.
