As snowflakes slowly cascaded in the morning sunlight, a peaceful serenity blanketed the valley and my soul. I stood in field of bitterbrush in Grand Teton National Park as a bachelor herd of moose ignored the click of my camera. Creatures great and small emerged from their hiding as each species hunted for sustenance in preparation for the coming winter.
