Loitering among the maze of cobbled streets and vibrant stucco walls of San Cristobal de las Casa are Los Bochos. Apparently, the lush, verdant flora of the selva and the thin air of los montañas provide an ideal climate for the breeding of VW Beetles. On a recent visit to this colonial town in Mexico, I documented my sightings of this resilient species.
